Scholarship requirements
- US Citizen
- 18 or older unless otherwise qualified under the program being considered.
- Scholarships are intended for individuals only.
- Scholarships may be used for instruction or similar programs.
- All scholarships are unconditional.
- Within two months of program participation or in the case where granted scholarship funds are used otherwise, recipients must submit a written report detailing their experience and how they intend to use the skills or experience in the future, for use by the Fund.
- If for any reason, the scholarship objective is canceled or significantly changed, or scholarship recipient is unable to attend or not accepted into the specified program, awarded funds must be returned to the HSMF.
- Successful scholarship recipients may be asked to give a slide show or other presentation regarding the use of the scholarship funds at the HSMF’s Annual Meeting.
Application Process
The application process is online. We are unable to accept other application formats. The process allows applicants to save their application so they can return to add or edit content before making their final submission.
